Social Impact of Shanti Devi Scholarship Scheme

Transforming lives through education by empowering deserving students, promoting academic excellence, social inclusion and humanitarian support.

Social Inclusivity

(Villages & Girl Child Focus)

  • Exponential Growth in Beneficiaries: Scheme has expanded its reach dramatically. Starting with 59 student beneficiaries in the 2021-22 academic year, the initiative scaled to over 100+ deserving students annually in almost all the subsequent cycles.
  • Near-Parity Gender Ratio: Our flagship scheme consistently maintains near-parity representations, with girls accounting for over 45% of all financial aid allocation over the last five consecutive years.
  • Deep Root System Across Local Villages: Scholarship program acts as a vital educational anchor for surrounding semi-urban and rural clusters by actively pulling talent from over 20 distinct local communities.

Academic Excellence

(Merit Criteria)

  • Nurturing Academic Brilliance: Over the last 5 years, more than 90% of all scholarship recipients maintained a performance status of "Excellent" or "Good". This direct correlation proves that given equal resource access, students from marginalized settings perform at parity with global benchmarks.
  • Clear Pathway to Higher Education Completion: The scheme builds a robust buffer against secondary-school dropout rates. Rather than capping aid at primary levels, continuous foundational support is provided right up to the critical board examination years.
  • Commitment to the Girl Child & Women's Empowerment: The program actively disrupts traditional gender disparities by stepping in where families face economic hesitation to educate girls.

Humanitarian Response

(Health/Pandemic Relief Cushions)

  • Post-Pandemic Resilience & Continuity: In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, the scholarship framework directly absorbed the shock for dozens of families reporting no income or unexpected job loss.
  • Compassionate Safety Nets for Vulnerable Households: Scholarship framework exercises dynamic humanitarian discretion approving heightened or complete waivers for extreme micro-contexts like Critical Healthcare Relief or Vulnerable Family Networks.
